Mixxx Assignment 10

Hey everybody i'm back again but this time i recorded my voice on the song and it's supereasy all you have to do is go to your mixx program and click preferences and change you mic to whatever you want to. After that you click the  mic button in the middle of the screen and then while you have your music playing you hold the talk button and record your voice while you hear music.I think Dj's can use this for recording like when when you DJ isn't there you can just load it up on a laptop and BOOOM!!! You have hit. Well tell me how ts goes.

Mixxx Assignment 9

Hey guy's im back with a new  way to remix songs that you have downloaded or even a song you made. fist you make an account at this website Freesound.org - Freesound.org and look for bits like people screaming or even a burp or someone farting anything you can imagine. Next go to the Mixxx program and click on the button at the top that says ''Sampler'' you will see a little deck at the bottom after you have downloaded that bit off the website you look for it in your folders and drag it to your deck on the bottom and your good. After that's done you but any song in the big deck (above the small one ) then play the song and mess with it and see how it sounds. After that everything is possible so let me know hat happens.

Mixxx Assignment 8

Hey guys I was scratching today. I used the Mixxx Program as usual and I went in you know im just nice like that but yea this scratching tool is cool. At the bottom of the deck there are buttons all you have to do is click the one that looks like a moon with a line in the middle of it and move the stick back and forth while ypu playing a song its really cool.

Mixxx Assignment 7

What i did was i just played the pitch control, its pretty easy. All you have to do is move the stick up or down and it change the pitch. If you're a DJ you can use this to make a fast song slow or a slow song fast. I wanna make my own mixtape and customize it with this program and its free. Please try it and tell me what happen.

Mixxx Assignment 6: Fx

 I used the program called Mixxx. What i did was i played around with the ''Fx'' knobs and the make your voice sound so different. The knobs are for you to change the wave lengths and by you doing that  the background music change and sound hallow it could be used for real music i would love to make my own song like that sounds pretty cool. Well Check it out and tell me what you think DJ's.

Mixxx A5

This is a remix/recording I made using the Mixxx program. What I did was i change the knobs of the EQ (Equalizer). I move the high,low,and mid and it changed the bands it makes it sound way different. If you turn all the knobs to the left the whole song cuts off and you cannot hear nothing. This can be used for a DJ because if you need more of the bass you can do that or if you need to change the beat itself. Well try it out DJ's and let me know what you did and if this helped. 

Mixxx Assignment 4: Balance and Volume

I used the program called Mixxx. What I did was i played with balance and the volume the song called ''Tonight'' by John Legend. I learned how to change in which channel/ear(left or right) I want to hear the song. Also I learned that the headphones I'm using has two settings ''Mono'' and ''Stereo''. I don't know how a DJ can use this but let me know if you can, DJ's!

Mixxx Assignment 3:Crossfader

What  I used the program called Mixxx. I used the sync button by dragging to songs to one deck and
another one to the second deck. After I did that I used the fader and  put to the left then to the right and kept doing that for a while. A Dj  could use this to have one song playing while the other is ready and if your performing you an switch songs at ease. Go and try it it works swelll. Gooood Luck!!!!!!

Mixxx Assignment 2: Loops

I used the program called Mixx. I Made two loops what i did was Firts i open Mixxx and i loaded a song into deck 1. Next i listened to the song and pick a good spot for a loop. Then i click 2,4,6,8,16 and thats how i did it. The two songs i used was Thinking about you by Frank Ocean the other song i used was Sam is dead by Tyler the creator and Domo.The one by Frank Ocean Is a 16 loop and the other is a 8 loop. You should ry doing its pretty fun and easy its like making you own remix to a song.

Mixxx Assignment 1

The song I used was Trust Issues by Drake. I used the named Mixxx Its very hard to use at first but after yuo learn its so easy. One f the challenges I had faced was i had to record it . I didnt know how to do but then it was easier than I thought easy and its super cool. Listen to it t's kind of messed up,oh well.

I used this program called Mixxx. I f you are trying to be a Dj you should really use it for it. I didnt pay anything for it's free for anyone you can mix any song or even two songs at once. I hope to make my own music from some song beats that i have download on to the computer. I like tomake my own music i have raps and even slow songs so i want to make some beats to go with the songs. These are some of the songs I I was tweaking on Mixx.  

What is Banshee

 This The Homepage is for the banshee media player  http://banshee.fm/. The latest version is 2.4,you can play music and videos on it. Also you can listen to podcast and live radio from the internet. The person who started it was  Aaron Bockover in 2005. 155 people are involved in Banshee.Its free for anyone. Some of the operating sites they use are openSUSE,Ubuntu,Foresight,Fedora,Debian,Mandriva,Mac Os x,Windows.   It took about the same amount of time to download it just like Itunes. How did I get my music from my itunes? I just went to file and import media and got to the folder that say "Download". I just download a song from here https://archive.org/details/MaxMelnerOrchestra-2011-08-17WestvillePub using the column "Flac" and it only on Banshee not on Itunes. But Itunes and Banshee are similar because the both let you play podcasts and music videos, also they both let you got to buy music from a store on the program.On Itunes you can many playlists on banshee i don't see if you can have more than one. Itunes matches the music you have on it with songs you might like Banshee doesn't. Itunes has home sharing  banshee doesn't.To Me Itunes is better because you can do more things than Banshee. So In Conclusion Itunes Is The BEST!!!!!

My person is Kendrick Lamar. His type of music is Hip-Hop,his latest song was ''Swimming Pools''. He recently performed at the Rock Bells 2012. I Like Him Because he came from nothing but at the age of 16 he got record deal with Top Dawg Entertainment. He is also co-singed with Lil Wayne. He inspire me to never give up and just keep trying. He just do what he want and don't care what people think or say. He likes the same rappers that i do we both like Tupac,Biggie,Lil Wayne,Drake,etc. I even learned how to rap fast from watching some of his videos he is one of the best out right now (In my eyes).
