Codec A computer program capable of encoding and/or decoding a digital data stream. . The term is a portmanteau (a blnding of two or more words)of coder and decoder.

Windows DirectSound-A windows interface between applications(such as Audacity)and the sound card driver. It is one of the ''audio hosts'' selectable in device toolbar.

This my voice recording with the music in the background

Anfp Part 2

Compression-A process that tends to even out the overall volume level by increasing the level of softer passages and decreasing the level of louder passages.

Dynamic Range-The difference between the loudest and softest part in an audio recording, the maximum possible being determined by its sample format.

Noise Floor-A level or amplitude representing the amount of near-continuous background noise present in the signal. A background hiss would raise the noise floor, and could prevent a faint signal (one below the noise floor) being heard at all. Unwanted sporadic noise such as a member of the audience coughing is noise, but it doesn't contribute to the noise floor.

This is me after I snip and edited my voice recording about Trey Songz.

Audacity Narration Project Part 1

ADC-Analog to digital converter
DAC-Digital to Analog converter
Clipping- Sound distorting

Narration:
Trey Songz is one of if not the best male vocalists of all time. When he sings he puts so much emotion into the song that he makes you believe this has really happened to him.  His songs more often than not relate to how people feel at the moment.  In this song he talks about how his girlfriend leaves to war and he isn’t certain if she will return. When I heard this song I fell immediately in love with it because I have a really close girl friend that’s in the army and that song really touched me.

What I had to do is write five sentences about our favorite artist. I chose Trey Songz and the song ''Yo side of the bed''.This task I assumed was easy but it actually hard because I had to write about his music you would think that was easy but you'll find yourself repeating what you said before it took me a couple of minutes but I finally finished it tell me what you think.

Hey Guys its me again if you'r wondering why I defined these words  (most likely I would say because my teacher told me to) is because it connects what im going to show what I did today in a matter of 10 minutes (less if you'r a quick learner). What  I did in my post below is i recorded my DJ name (DJ MackkStarr) but with a twist I made an  echo follow  my name and it only took four easy steps. First you record your DJ name.Secondly you click the end of tou'r recording .After you have done this click Generate and hit Silence put it 3 seconds long. Finally you press Effect and then click echo and your all set the press play and hear your masterpiece. If you did this correctly you'll have a good use of this program, well let me know how it goes.
